ANNUAL MEETING followed by Ballroom Dance

Report to the Members

The annual membership meeting will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 at 6:00 pm in the main Ballroom. Learn what progress we have made this past year and what is planned for the future. There will be proposed bylaw changes at this meeting. Membership is required to attend. 

Arrive on Time and Dance Free

The Monday Ballroom dance will  follow the meeting. Everyone arriving by 6:00 pm can attend the dance at no     charge. Doors open at 5:30 pm.

Election of     Directors

The Board of Directors consists of twelve members who each serve three year-terms. Terms are staggered     so that four terms expire each June. New or expiring Directors are welcome to run. There is no term limit for Directors.

The first Board meeting  after the election, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 6:30 pm, the new Board will elect the Officers of the corporation from the Directors. Officers     serve for a one-year term.

The Denver Turnverein is a challenging business with dances and lessons 7 days a week; a grand     historic building to manage, update, and preserve; special events to host; and nonprofit and business regulations to follow, all while providing     affordable and professional lessons and dances to our community. We are in     need of dedicated, passionate, and business-minded directors willing to     donate their time and talents. Anyone who has been a member for at least 30 days at the time of the election can run for the board.
